This is my office…

In addition to cruising on a longboard with teens, I also bike with them to get ice cream, and jog with them when they need to condition for soccer season. The bi-lateral stimulation of these activities boosts the simplicity of shared experience that cuts through the awkwardness of therapeutic conversation common to sitting in a stuffy office.

Additionally, Colorado is beautiful. And even in the colder winter months, the sunsets on a lake hit different when you’re sitting waterside discussing how to ask family members what is on their hearts, or contemplating the difficulty of a dating relationship.
